  • The physical spaces around us reflect our values and give our lives shape and meaning. Whether that space is a small urban lot, a multi-acre farm, or anything in between, we can help you work towards a vision of care and resilience that can send ripples far beyond your fence line.

    The first step is a consultation, generally an on-site meeting, but virtual is an option when necessary. During our 1-2 hour meeting, we’ll discuss your goals, observations, and any possibilities you may not have thought of already, especially resilience factors including water management and catchment, edible landscaping/food production, and livestock potential.

    This is the first step in a design/install process.

    $250 + milage outside of St. Louis City

  • This is for the DIYers and/or anyone who is unsure of a path forward. We start with a consultation in your yard and you get a high-level concept design soon after to give you a better sense of the possibilities of your space and inspire you to play.

    Additional design/install services can be contracted separately.

    $500 (up to ¼ acre)

  • Detailed landscape or homestead/farm design, focusing on resilience, water, and food for humans and non-humans alike; AKA edible and native landscaping that is drought-tolerant and hardy for our changing climate. Installation services can be discussed after a design is completed.

    Project-based pricing

  • Does your relationship with the outside world need some work? For most of us that begins in our yards.

    Have you lost control of your outdoor space to a big green monster? Do you spend your time mowing and trimming a lawn that you otherwise do not interact with? Are your fruit trees unpruned and unproductive? Do you long for some shade?

    I’m here to help you restore your relationship with your yard and the larger ecosystem of which we are all a part. Whether you inhabit a small property in the city or many acres outside of it, we all have something to learn from our land.

    The yard concierge membership is a year-long partnership, with monthly sessions (up to 4hrs) at your property culminating in a personalized almanac based on our observations and progress throughout the year. This is not a traditional landscaping consultation, maintenance, or coaching package but includes elements of all three. Your attendance is mandatory unless otherwise discussed for each month’s session, as your engagement with the process is fundamental to the success of the project. This is about you and your yard.

    Additional design and/or installation work can be commissioned separately alongside this process but is not included in this membership.

    What you may learn:

    • Plant identification; understanding the plants present and their roles provides the baseline for any future management strategy or design implementation.

    • Water Literacy; reading your land to understand how water flows across and how this affects everything else.

    • Landshaping Basics; what happens when you dig a hole; how do you plant a tree on a slope; how do we get water from here to there?

    • Maintenance Strategies and the tools that help; when to worry about weeds, how to work efficiently.

    • Food Production; gardening or farming techniques and strategies, including livestock husbandry.

    • Design Basics

    $250-1000/month for 12 months based on size of property, location, and goals.
